Love is the most complex yet intriguing experience that one has experience in life. Sadly, people, at large, is confuse about what love is truly is. This confusion worsens as the mainstream movie industry introduced twisted kind of love which emphasis too much upon feeling and romantic saga of it. However, a better understanding of the nature of love might be able to help to clear the entire confusion.
Gary Chapman in his book “the five love language for single” has stated that there are two kinds of love: Falling in love (obsessive stage of love) and covenant love. To have a better look into these two stages of love will somehow help in acquiring a better understanding of love.
Falling in love is a natural (Instinctive) kind of “in love” experience which becomes part of human psychological make up. Man and women alike most likely have experienced this kind of love. However, due to one instinctive nature, this stage of love can caused people to develop an obsessive behaviour (which is un-healthy) as they are often become blind to the reality of self and the beloved. This obsessive-ness will act as a virus that will makes a person abandon their reason. A person who was in this stage of love will often believe that the person to whom he/she loved is the perfect one. Did this ring any bell?
